September 24, 2021 1 p.m.  PIKE STREET CONSTRUCTION PROJECT:  Two Way Traffic will be maintained today with flaggers. One way traffic restriction may begin Monday, September 27. September 21, 2021 1:50 p.m.  PIKE STREET CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: 
Work to begin Wednesday, September 22, 2021. Berry Street is NOW ONE WAY between Whitehill Street and Mary Street. Direction of traffic Mary Street to Whitehill (For the next 4-5 weeks). DAILY UPDATES HERE ON FB, TWITTER AND OUR WEBSITE AT WWW.COLLEGETOWNSHIP.ORG NEWS section.

September 17, 2021 Update:   2:38 p.m. PIKE STREET CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: 9/17/2021 Survey crews finishing up today. Construction to begin Monday 9/20/2021. Also, beginning Monday, access to Berry Street will be one way from Mary Street to Whitehill Street with DO NOT ENTER signs posted at Whitehill Street. The one way detour on Pike Street will begin Wednesday 9/22/2021. Call 814-231-3021 with questions. Thank you for your patience during this project.

THE PIKE STREET WATER AND GAS LINE RELOCATION AND EXTENSION PROJECT WILL COMMENCE ON SEPTEMBER 13, 2021 AND WILL CONTINUE FOR APPROXIMATELY 7 WEEKS.  THE WORK WILL BE PERFORMED BY MID-STATE PAVING, INC. THE CONTRACT INCLUDES: EXISTING WATER MAIN RELOCATION AND EXTENSION WITHIN A THREE-BLOCK SECTION OF THE PIKE STREET CORRIDOR FROM ELMWOOD STREET TO DALE STREET, AND COORDINATION OF SEVERAL REQUIRED GAS MAIN RELOCATIONS WITH COLUMBIA GAS. WORK WILL INCLUDE INSTALLATION OF MAINTENANCE AND PROTECTION OF TRAFFIC CONTROLS THROUGH THE WORK AREA.  THE DETOUR ROUTE IS PICTURED BELOW.
